We are a Raleigh-based commercial design team dedicated to designing health and wellness spaces that deliver exceptional patient experiences. Our clients are primarily located in the greater triangle area of North Carolina, but we also offer online design options for clients located elsewhere.
Our vision is to create holistic designs that promote healing and that elevate standard health care design with luxurious elements and a cohesive aesthetic. We go above and beyond to ensure our clients are satisfied and inspired by the end result.

An experienced Interior Designer you can trust
Heather’s passion is helping clients bring productivity and well-being into their workspaces through thoughtful innovative design methods. Her work integrates techniques proven to increase creativity and make visitors feel welcome. Creating experiences that are inclusive and engaging through the integration of natural materials/light, plants, defining color and spatial set-ups.
Heather is a graduate of Parsons School of Design. That experience shaped her innovative spirit, love of functional design and understanding of product sourcing. Living in New York City, Heather gained a deep understanding of retail, real estate and commercial design.
She is a believer in continued education and has studied color theory, space planning and various rendering platforms. Heather is a lover of the zeitgeist which influences her empathetic design style. Heather is fascinated in the way an interior space provides healing and comfort. She founded Blackwell & Jennings to create intentional healthcare spaces that are not only luxurious and beautiful but that are also more inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed.
